Spider Boom proves just the job for Iconic Building
When precision and agility were on the must have list for maintenance work at the iconic Hoover Building in West London, JMS knew exactly what to supply – the Hinowa Lightlift 20.10 Track Mounted boom lift.
The Light Lift 20.10 is an impressive machine, providing 20.1m of working height and importantly for boom type machines – an outreach of 9.7m.
Spider boom lifts typically have a compact chassis enabling them to access narrow access places eg. retail outlets, sporting facilities and historic building such as the Hoover Building. Two person 230kg capacity in the platform is useful feature of the Hinowa boom.
If you’re not sure on which access machine JMS Spider Boom team provide a free site survey to assess the most appropriate machine for the task required. In addition, JMS provide a thorough handover and familiarisation when machines are delivered. Mark Jackson, Managing Director said “Track mounted booms are extremely versatile access platforms. Many customers will use them for a few weeks at a time. We offer a demonstration service to ensure they use the machine productively and safely.
The Grade II Listed Hoover Building sits proudly alongside the A40 in London. Designed by Wallis, Gilbert and Partners its iconic Art Deco architectural styling was built in 1933 and was used as a factory for Hoover cleaners, with a short spell helping the War effort with aircraft parts.
