JMS strengthens internal scissor lift fleet with new SkyJack SJ16

JMS has added to its fleet of low level personnel lifts with the purchase of 10 SkyJack SJ16 machines.

The self-propelled personnel lift, or vertical mast lift, is ideal for working at height inside buildings, for example in hotels, leisure centres and retail environments.

The 10 SkyJack SJ16 self-propelled personnel lifts have been added to JMS’s low level access rental fleet, at a time when demand for such machines has been growing.

Facilities management specialists are increasingly aware that using powered access platforms, whether on personnel masts, scissor lifts or booms, is an excellent option to improve productivity, flexible working and safety.

The SkyJack SJ16 vertical mast lift is electric-powered so produced no emissions. As such, it is perfect for use in clean environments, such as offices, shops and warehouses.

It is designed to be highly compact and offer superior manoeverability when compared with other personnel lifts on the market. When operating in confined spaces, it has a high degree of steer angle, including a zero inside turning radius.

SkyJack SJ16 personnel lifts feature a 20 inch traversing platform which can reach over potential obstacles. It also has a unique slide-away platform giving easy-access to components, even when raised.

It has a working height of 6.7 metres and a raised platform height of 4.85 metres, a lowered platform height of 0.51 metres, an overall length of 1.37 metres and a stowed height of 1.76 metres – all statistics that prove just how compact these vertical personnel lifts are.

SkyJack SJ16 vertical mast lifts provide a working platform for up to two people and can be driven at full height.
