JMS Scissor Lift proves a hit in Central London hire at Soho
When one of the busiest places in London, South of Horton, famously known as SOHO with its Instagram worthy cafes, pubs and restaurants, needed maintenance to one of its famous buildings JMS were on hand to hire a LGMG SR1623D scissor lift to provide up to 17.9m of working height. The busy pedestrian areas required careful planning with additional traffic and pedestrian protection measures.
The 4.9m width and extensive 680kg platform capacity provides plenty of space for multiple operatives along with materials and tools. An integrated 1.14m roll out deck extension provides access up and over obstacles as well as wider platform area – reducing the number of times the platform needed to be moved.
With a gradeability of 40%, 4-wheel drive with 4 hydraulic stabilisers and automatic levelling, the LGMG scissor lift can tackle rough terrain on site – although SOHO’s streets didn’t present that type of challenge.
