JMS Powered Access Invests in JLG 450AJ Booms for Hire Fleet
JMS Powered Access has expanded its boom lift fleet with the addition of the JLG 450AJ self-propelled articulated booms, increasing availability of a key mid-range machine across its hire fleet.
With a working height of 15.77m, the JLG 450AJ is a diesel-powered boom lift is suited to construction, building maintenance, facilities management and installation work.

“By adding eight new units to the fleet and positioning them across Harpenden, Dartford and Leeds, we are improving availability and ensuring customers can access this equipment quickly, wherever they are working in the UK.”
The JLG 450AJ offers 7.62m of outreach, allowing operators to work up and over obstacles or across landscaped areas, whilst the 1.24m jib provides extra flexibility and precise positioning at height.
Designed for tough site conditions, the platform combines variable engine speed control for improved fuel efficiency with a fast elevation time, 250kg platform capacity and 45% gradeability. Rough terrain tyres support performance on uneven ground.

The new articulated booms are now available for hire across the UK, and have been deployed across JMS depots in Harpenden, Dartford and Leeds.
This investment further enhances the wide choice of self propelled articulated and straight stick booms that JMS offer to their customers, working heights from 10.1 to 58.6m
