JMS announces expansion with new Dartford depot

Powered access hire specialist JMS has opened a new depot in North Kent.

The new JMS Dartford depot is strategically placed to serve the company’s growing number of customers in South East London, Kent Sussex.

JMS Managing Director Mark Jackson said: “Our new depot is ideally-placed to enhance our service for customers south of the Thames. It is also right in the middle of one of the most dynamic economic development areas in the UK.

“JMS Dartford will help us guarantee the fast consistent machine delivery collection times that are a hallmark of our service.

“It gives us more space to stock our growing hire portfolio of aerial booms, scissor lifts, telehandlers forklift trucks.

“We’re also very pleased that, over time, JMS Dartford will allow us to create more jobs in the local area, contributing to the success of the local economy.”

The investment means JMS now has three depots. The other two are in Harpenden, in Hertfordshire, the company’s HQ, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

JMS also has an operational office at the Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire, to provide a powered access hire service for the media, film TV industry.

JMS Dartford will provide customers with the full range of the ultra-modern, safe sustainable powered access equipment the company has to offer, including scissor lifts, cherry pickers tracked boom lifts.

They include some of the largest access booms in the UK, such as the JLG 1850SJ boom lift, which has a maximum working height of 58.57m.
