Impressive Genie purchases meet customer specification
JMS has confirmed its position as one of the most responsive powered access hire companies in the UK with the purchase of two Genie super booms.
JMS Sales and Marketing Director Scott Walker said: “This is the latest example of JMS working in partnership with project designers, QHSE and procurement leaders on the most challenging jobsite applications.
“We listened to what they needed in terms of very high level powered access platforms for applications including steel erection and roofing. We purchased the most appropriate powered access platforms for the kinds of projects specified by our customers.”
There is also a real demand for extra capacity platforms to reduce the number of lift cycles needed to get operatives, tools and materials to aerial worksites. With the Genie SX-135 XC, customers can do more with a single unit. This saves time and increases productivity.
The JMS aerial platform hire fleet has been developed in response to the increasingly complex needs of the construction, industrial, warehousing, facilities management, and film and television industries.
Extra-capacity Genie offers highly versatile working envelope
The Genie SX-135 XC telescopic boom offers a highly versatile working envelope with a 27.43m maximum outreach as well as extended out-and-down capability with a 5.99m below ground reach for applications including underground car parks and over balconies.
The extra capacity platform can carry up to 454kg. The articulating jib is capable of precisely and safely positioning operators and their equipment.
Scott Walker said: “Our customers asked and we delivered. Safety and advanced specifications are paramount for working at these heights.
“We are delighted by the acquisition of our latest Genie super boom lifts and so are our customers.”
