JMS Powered Access has expanded its fleet of super booms with the addition of the new XCMG XGA48K articulated boom lift, offering customers a maximum working height of 48.7 metres. This state-of-the-art machine provides extensive outreach of 24.5 metres and a huge working envelope, enabling efficient positioning for demanding access projects.
This type of boom lift excels in the most challenging high reach access applications – major construction projects, wind turbine maintenance, high reach building facade work and bridge inspection tasks. Impressive specifications beyond the world-leading working height include an extensive platform capacity of 460kg (unrestricted 300kg) and 40% gradeability, enabling it to thrive in the toughest of site conditions with its powerful four-wheel drive system and rough terrain tyres.
A powerful Stage V Cummins engine provides reliable all-day performance, whilst a power self-matching energy-saving system reduces fuel consumption by over 30% compared to traditional hydraulics.
Proportional intuitive controls offer precise positioning of the platform, supporting minor adjustments at the largest working heights.

XGA48K is now available for hire across the UK, from JMS Powered Access depots in Harpenden, Leeds, Dartford and Radlett.
Operated Hire is also available, where fully accredited IPAF operators will operate the Boom, enabling you to concentrate on the task at height.
