Access platform and telehandler specialist JMS Powered Access has taken into its fleet ground-breaking new Dingli personnel masts that are the only all-electric drive platforms of their type in the UK.
The new Dingli AMWP7-8100 has no hydraulic functions, which eliminates the risk of oil-spills and delivers enhances performance in terms of responsiveness and power efficiency.
The personnel mast has a maximum working height of 6.7m, a stowed height of 1.99m, and a width of just 760mm, making it easy to operate in confined spaces.
Capability step change
As well as being unique in the market in offering oil-free operation, the Dingli AMWP7-8100 can be driven at full height with its platform extension fully extended.
JMS Managing Director Mark Jackson said:
“These new Dingli personnel lifts provide our customers with industry-leading performance and new capabilities that they’re already impressed with.
“JMS is determined to offer the best low-level access options, which is why we’ve brough the Dingli AMWP7-8100 into our fleet. It’s a step change in capability that we know will be very popular.”
Andy Northwood, General Manager of Dingli UK, said:
“We’re delighted JMS has invested significantly in our new Dingli AMWP7-8100 low-level access mast.
“We believe the platform offers significant advantages over its rivals, and Mark and his team have the same view. Having no hydraulic hoses eliminates spills and maintenance concerns.
“As a highly-efficient, energy-saving platform, the Dingli AMWP7-8100 also contributes to low carbon performance, minimising the carbon footprint of its users, and the companies they work for.”
Long battery life
The personnel mast has a zero-maintenance lithium battery pack, which has an onboard charger, that delivers power to two direct drive motors, providing two wheel drive and two-wheel steering.
The direct drive system, combined with proportional controls, means the personnel mast can be positioned very precisely. Efficient power use contributes to long battery life.
The Dingli AMWP7-8100’s platform is 1000mm by 760mm in size and has a 500mm extension deck. It is fitted with non-marking tyres and has a capacity of 200kg.
The personnel mast is ideal for carrying out maintenance and surveys in a wide range of settings, including shops and retail centres, offices, the media industry, and factories, as well as product picking in warehouses.
